Recipes
Ghee fat-washed bourbon
To a glass jar, add the bourbon and melted ghee. Seal with a lid and shake vigorously for 10 seconds, then allow to sit at room temperature for at least 3-4 hours to overnight.
After the mixture has sat at room temperature, place the jar in the freezer for at least 1 hour, allowing the ghee to fully harden.
Take the jar out of the freezer and carefully remove the hardened ghee. Pour the remaining bourbon mixture through a cheesecloth or coffee filter to remove any additional ghee chunks. You now have your ghee fat-washed bourbon.
Baklava old fashioned
Place 2 glasses in the freezer to chill.
To a cocktail mixing glass or shaker, add the bourbon, baklava syrup, and angostura bitters.
Add a large handful of ice and stir with a metal spoon for 45 seconds-1 minute, until the mixture is completely chilled.
Remove the glasses from the freezer and add a large icecube to each (or a few smaller ones). Strain the old fashioned evenly between the two glasses.
Garnish with a strip of orange or lemon peel.
